On 20 May 2026, Deixe-me Viver screened at the Marché du Film, inside the Palais des Festivals. Cat walked the red carpet in four looks — among them a gown of handmade roses by Victoria Alta Costura.

Cat Dantas is a Brazilian actor working between Rio de Janeiro and Los Angeles, drawn to intense, transformative characters across film, television and streaming.
She trained for ten years at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute (2014–2024), studied Acting and Auditioning for Film at UCLA with casting director Wendy Kurtzman, and now trains with Ivana Chubbuck. In 2026 she led Deixe-me Viver as Júlia — a young woman who stops her cancer treatment to live the time she has left — and took the film to the Marché du Film in Cannes. The same year, she reached theaters in the comedy Os Emergentes.
On television and streaming she has worked with Record, TV Globo and Disney+, and abroad with the BBC on Mister Maker Around the World. Online, her scenes reach millions: the character Júlia alone passed 100 million views on TikTok before the film premiered.
